From your first evaluation to ongoing support, every service is built around one goal: understanding the real reasons you don’t feel like yourself, and helping you feel better.

GeneSight® genetic testing

GeneSight is a simple cheek-swab test that shows how your genes may affect the way your body responds to certain mental health medications.

It’s one more tool to help guide the right medication choice, with less trial and error. Ask us whether GeneSight is right for you and how insurance coverage works.

  • Quick, painless cheek swab
  • Helps inform medication decisions
  • Reviewed with you by your provider

Less guessing. More answers.

Your genes are one part of your story. We combine test results with everything else we learn about you.

Questions

Service FAQs

Can I get both medication management and therapy?

Yes. Our care is designed to combine medication management, therapy and complementary approaches into one plan that fits you.

Do I need a referral?

You can contact us directly. Some insurance plans require a referral for specialist care, so check with your plan or call us and we’ll help you figure it out.

Is GeneSight covered by insurance?

Coverage depends on your plan. Ask us at your visit or call (402) 251-3600 and we’ll help you understand your options.

What is a Good Faith Estimate? (self-pay & uninsured patients)

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.

How often are follow-up visits?

It depends on your plan and how you’re doing. We’ll set a follow-up schedule together and adjust it as needed.

How do I request a medication refill?

The fastest and safest way is to contact your pharmacy and ask them to send an electronic refill request to our office. You can also send a request through the Secure Patient Portal. Please request refills 3 to 5 business days before you run out. Read our full refill policy.
